The Planning Starts Early
Now, certain friends of mine at work had been... Let us not say
pestering, but frequently suggesting that Matt and I really ought to get
on with it. So the next morning, still a bit sleepy, I went in and told these
friends about it, and like the good friends they are, they were thrilled for me.
The excitement built. During my lunch break (of course I'd never surf
the Web during work), out of nothing but sheer curiosity, I did a little surfing
around some wedding and bridal pages. (Note the Other Sites section below.) And
at one of these sites I
found an offer of free planning software. I thought it sounded interesting, so
I downloaded it and played with it, and liked it, despite a few minor bugs. So
I brought it home that night. Matt found it uproariously funny that I managed
to bring home wedding-planner software before we'd even gone to buy a ring, and
so did my parents...
No, I don't think it's funny at all. ...Well, maybe just a
little
