Good question. Here's my answer. I look at a lot of homepages. It's one of my favorite things to do when I surf. Before I wrote my homepage, I looked at a fair number of other people's homepages, trying to get a feel ofr what I'd like to do. Anyway, pretty much every ding-dang page I saw had an "Under Construction" notice, with a little [IMAGE] of a guy with a shovel, indicating that some sort of back-breaking toil was at place here. The main change now is that the little icons are animated. I knew myself. I wasn't going to really sweat this page, so when I found a picture of a guy leaning on his shovel, taking a break, I appropriated it for my page.
But it wasn't enough.
It still seemed, or at least I still felt, that I was saying that I
really worked on this page from time to time, but right now I was having
a bit of a nap. Well, time went by and I added bits here and shaved off
a rough corner there, and I never really worked on a damn thing. Hence,
the new logo. We're under evolution around these here parts. Sometimes it's
gonna be like the rise of the mammals and things will be whirling and
changing and I'll have a shovel out and will be writing HTML like there's
no tomorrow. However, there's gonna be a lot of those slower times when
I'll just be picking at the not-
So, thanks for reading all this. Hope it doesn't bug ya...
